Touching Moments

Program Description

This organization provides enjoyment and enrichment to the lives of individuals through the use of animal assisted activities. Volunteers take their special pets to healthcare facilities throughout Houston County and surrounding communities to socialize and be petted, creating a therapeutic atmosphere. In addition, the program offers the service of a reading program which helps improve a child’s reading skills using dog companions.
